My daughter received this as a Christmas present. Apparently there were no Amazon reviews at the time it was purchased. It's pretty unlikely that no one would have bought this had they seen any of the reviews (and it looks like Amazon is no longer selling it). Like everyone else, the pens were dried out. Tried soaking in hot water, but it didn't help. The string broke off close to the tip on the pink pen, so I couldn't even get it out with pliers.
The idea of having glue already on the pen is a big mistake. At a minimum, they should have provided a separate bottle of glue to add to the pen. This seems like an inherent design flaw that any QA should have caught immediately.
I'd give this zero stars if that was an option.
