My husband is a monopoly freak, obsessed doesn't even cut it. We have a million different versions of the game, which I don't even get because isn't it the same game anyways! Now before my sons were born, we played board games probably once a week, now I honestly can't even think of the last time we played a board game. It is just too hard with all the pieces and curious hands! Our new outlet for entertainment since having kids is the Wii and when I heard that Monopoly was available for the Wii, I knew my husband would love it.

I received the new Monopoly for the Wii from Electronic Arts (EA) and it rocks! First off it features both Classic and Here and Now World Edition Boards. Second off, there is a quick version to play in 30 minutes, called `Get Rich Quick' where the you go head to head against other players in either the developer, industrialist, or tycoon levels. You can play up to four players, although we have only tried it out with two players.

My husband and I love this game and it is awesome for people that want quick game play or want a change in traditional Monopoly-play. You shake the dice with the Wii controller, buy properties, make trading offers, and of course there are Chance and Community Chest cards. There are ten playable boards, with properties reflecting themes like arctic, future, jungle and more! To play different gameboards though you do have to unlock the boards through gameplay, but that is just more challenges and fun!

The game is very close to regular game play, but it is just more fun with the Wii-remote actions. Oh and there are even awesome mini-games to play in! These are fun little breaks. The only drawback with the game is that as two players it automatically adds in two computer players and that was annoying, otherwise you can really customize everything and change some rules.

Overall, this is a great game although I can only vouch for the Wii version. I am sure the other versions on the other systems are fun too, but I like the Wii remote actions. It is colorful, bright, and has lots to offer. I think this too would be a great game for families to play who love their Wii and are looking to incorporate some board games into family time!

We ordered this after reading the 5 star reviews. We probably should have taken a closer look at the description. We really thought this would be more of a trivia type game, since it is made by the Scene-it company, but there is no trivia at all. You could replace the video clips and game pieces with some other theme and it wouldn't alter the game at all. OK for 4-7 year olds, but my wife and I were getting tired of it about halfway through the first sitting. From now on our kids can play this on their own.

And judging from all the used copies I've seen at GameStop and Game Crazy I'm not the only one who didn't enjoy this game.

This game is way bigger than I ever expected it to be since the description of this game doesnt do it any justice. After the 2 starwars lego games I figured this would be the first game plus one more world for the new movie, with 6 new levels and that would be it. Not the case, none of these level are the same as the first game. This one has 6 big walk through free roam worlds, the first 3 movies plus 3 for the new movie, each with 15 levels. So there are at least 90 levels plus the six worlds you walk around in, I havent finished the game yet, could be more. Yes some of the levels are small and short but not all. Each world you unlock you have to unlock new characters and new vehicles. It is a little different than the other lego games but I think in a good way if you played them all and are ready for something different. You can make your own levels too. Besides that and the 6 worlds there is also something eles I havent even unlocked yet. This game should bring you hours and hours of enjoyment. Amost speechless but not quite. This game is AWESOME!! I've played Gran Turismo for years, all of the previous 4 games and this one is by far the greatest! The detail, right down to the stitching on the drivers gloves in POV-view and the shadows shift as you drive the track on a sunny day!! Are you kidding me?!? The cars are awesome - though I do miss some of my old favorites... The series you have to run to get cars unlocked are challenging enough and the tracks are all very realistic. The most real to life driving game ever! Except that the cars don't get mashed when you hit something, I agree with the game designers when they want to sustain the beauty of the cars throughout the game. I can't wait for the whole game GT5 to come out, of course we've been waiting for it for 2 years, so until then I will keep playing this and loving every minute! I have to say that I was a bit skeptical about this game. Being an on-rails shooter I thought it may be really basic and not hold my attention long. I was really wrong.

First, this game is NOT for children. It holds Guinness World Record title of most swearing in a video game with 189 counts of the "F" word. Not that it's bad, in fact it is so over-the-top it not only grabbed my attention, but pimp-slapped it and shook it around. Fans of Tarantino and Grindhouse style films will really appreciate the atmosphere. Everything from the artstyle to the music is designed to be fun, violent, in your face, but it never takes itself too seriously.

While the main story is a bit short, about 6 hours total, beating it once unlocks the "Director's Cut" which adds some addition "scenes" to each chapter of the game. This increases the difficulty a bit and also helps to make your second play through still feel fresh.

If possible, be sure to play with the official "Hand Cannon." Wielding this hefty, although plastic, imitation magnum revolver really adds to the overall feeling that you're out to blow some big holes through hoards of the undead.

Better yet, get two of them. Play with a friend or unlock dual-wield mode so you can literally use two Wii-motes (or Hand Cannons) at the same time.

If you want a lighthearted, fun, violent experience, I highly recommend this.

Cheapest Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Game of the Year

As I planned to play through CoD4 before the release of Modern Warfare 2 I got the dreaded red ring of death on my 360. So instead of buying a new 360 I just ordered a copy of the CoD4 Game of the Year instead. I notice no real difference between the PS3 version and teh 360 version.

The story and gameplay is fantastic and hold up well against Modern Warfare 2. Granted the couple years of development helped to polish MW2 a bit better, but CoD4 stands up an a premier game still, three years later.

The game play is fast and intense with constant streams of enemies attaching. That can be fun and at times can be annoying. Sometimes you just end up fighting until you cross a certain spawn point which means you really can't thin out the mass of enemies. You are better to movie forward that being tactical and slow. That means CoD4 can lend itself to a sort of run and gun gameplay style, particularly on the easier settings. On Hardcore and Veteran things get amazingly hard though and if you are looking for an amazing challege that is where you will find it. While I manage to eventually make it through the game on veteran towards the end it was an act of determination, since it was not fun anymore.

The enemy AI is good and they will flank and take cover, though some will charge you at times resulting in a rifle butt to the face and instant death if you aren't fast enough. The weapons in game are great and all feel pretty unique. The reloading sequences are very accurate and the guns feel unique and weighty. In too many games the weapons all feel the same but in CoD4 there are advantages to each, even more so during multiplayer.

The campaign is fantastic. Granted it follows the CoD pattern with epic set piece scenes and a very linear path. But the graphics and polish combined with the amazing story make it easy to immerse yourself in the game play. CoD has a habit of pushing the envelope with each now game and CoD4 is no different, from first person executions and nuclear explosions CoD4 has it all. I would also be remiss were I not to mention the level you operate as a gunner on an AC130. This level was so well done and such an amazing change of pace. You leave the gritty on the ground feel and get to fight through a level from the safety of a gunship. The in ship dialog is spot on and its hard to tell if you are watching actual footage online or playing the level, which is fantastic.

All in all if you haven't jumped one to the CoD Modern Warfare bandwagon its time to get a ticket. Modern Ware 2 is a fantastic game by if you haven't played the first one yet you owe it to yourself to give it a play through. Get more detail about Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Game of the Year.

Overall the set list just isn't that great. I do like about 30-35% of the songs so I can live with it. I am glad I purchased this however, because the controller is pretty cool and I can use it to play World Tour(which has a magnificent set list). I wish I had purchased it a long time ago. I like the play controls though I'm still getting used to it. I have not had the issues that others have had, no screen jumping or anything like that and the graphics are decent. Demon's Souls Right now

I have mixed feelings for this game. The gameplay is innovative and addictive. It's the best game I've seen on the PS3. However, I've come to find that the bright HUD (heads up display) the game employs has left a seemingly permanent image on my new V10 Panasonic plasma display - bummer. There's no excuse for this in my mind, the fixed images in a game should be transparent and/or their placement should vary to prevent image retention and possible burn in.

I previously owned a DS Lite, which, sadly, was stolen, and I made the decision to replace it with the DSi. In retrospect, I wish I had just gone with the DS Lite.

The DSi costs $40 more, with the upgrades including a larger screen, camera, Wifi capabilities, and a few other things. However, while these upgrades look great on the surface, the functionality just isn't there. The camera is very low resolution, and while there are some "fun" things to do with the pictures (swirl parts of your face together, add a pig nose, that type of thing), they're very sophomoric and cheap looking. Therefore, the pictures only work to kill time - you can't use them for anything.

The internet is extremely slow and hard to use. Even if you're used to getting online via small devices (iPhone, Blackberry), you will find the small screen and sluggishness frustrating.

And, of course, you lose the ability to play GBA games that the DS Lite had. This was a perk that I didn't realize I'd miss as much as I do. The case is a bit small - it only fits the DSI and does not have any slots/pockets for games. Not a problem if you only want to take one game (in the DSi) with you.

Also not terribly impressed with the charging base. The bright blue light stays on all the time, not just when the DSi is charging, and the DSi doesn't just slide onto the charger - it takes a little effort to line up the power plug.

Cheapest Rock Band Official Microphone (PS3, Wii, Xbox360)

I bought this microphone to further enhance my Rock Band experience. I was not disappointed. It kept in tune well (which was a problem I saw with other microphones) and was light enough to not be a burden of any kind. I don't mind that it is not wireless, since I wouldn't move around much anyways. Also, the fact that it doesn't have buttons didn't bother me, mainly because I don't mind using a controller to navigate. I do think it could have been packaged better, but I don't fault the microphone for it.
