This game was amusing for the first few times I played, but after that it became boring. The locations are beautiful but very limited and once you've completed a couple Adventures in each one there's really not much more to see or do. The "traps" in the catacombs and tombs were also very easy to intuit and after the first couple adventures I knew what needed to be done and it was just a matter of repeating the same steps in slightly different orders to complete the Adventures (yawn).
Bottom line: If you are an avid Sims fan and have an extra $35 to burn then by all means buy this game. If you are looking for an expansion pack that truly expands the game in meaningful ways, you're going to need to wait.Get more detail about The Sims 3: World Adventures Expansion Pack.
